Dear Wanna-be Author,
I’m sure you fully mean it when you say you plan to write a book. But I’m here to tell you, lies are where good intentions goes to die. If you constantly say to yourself, “I’m going to write a book” but haven’t made any effort to do so, you’re lying.
Stop lying to yourself about why you haven’t written a book yet and instead just get to work.
If you’re worried about what others people will say, you’ll never move forward. If you’re waiting to “warn” people about what you plan to write, you’ll never move forward. If you’ve spent the last few months extensively researching your book topic but haven’t written one word yet, you’ll never move forward.
Stop waiting for other people’s permission to write your book. Stop waiting for the right time. Stop wasting valuable time researching your book to death. Stop lying to yourself and instead, start writing.
